Visiting a number of museums and the Romanesque church Saint Peter concludes my stay at Strasbourg.

The first day of my stay at Strasbourg is dedicated mostly to the cathedral and its surroundings.

I visit the Musée de la Cour d'Or and tour the Medival fortifications of Metz as well as the rest of the historical center.

On my first day at Metz I walk along the river Mosel, explore the western part of the historical city center and encounter three very different churches.

During our two-day visit in Colmar we walk through the historical center, make a boat tour, and visit several museums, including the Musée Unterlinden which contains the famous Isenheim Altar.

We ascend the cathedral and enjoy the view from its towers, visit the museum dedicated to Jean Tinguely and return home swimming in the Rhine.
